Carving a new bow

Raven sat in the workshop carefully using a pen knife to do the fine carving on a new longbow. Like his own this was made of his own wood he prefered to use, Black Yew. One of the rarest of woods but one of the nicest to use for bow making.
He frowned as he sensed something was amiss and stood up leaving the bow and dashing into the woods his raven staff held ready.
